The Arauca region lies on the border of Colombia and Venezuela along the Arauca river basin. Cacao is an important source of employment for female heads of households and has helped in the recovery of peace to the region. Arauca beans come from a private farm run by Elizabeth Agudelo who is a second generation cacao farmer. Elizabeth has identified Arauquita5 which is a native cacao on her farm.
All of our chocolate is made with just cocoa beans and sugar; no added cocoa butter, lecithin, or vanilla. Our chocolate is free of soy, dairy, eggs, and gluten.
